The Sulaméfrican baile is set to storm the Memorial 🏴☠️
BaianaSystem presents Baile Pirataria, the first edition of the band’s pre-Carnival event in São Paulo, taking place on January 24, 2026, at the Memorial da América Latina.
The event marks Baile Pirataria’s debut in the city’s Carnival calendar, showcasing BaianaSystem’s powerful Afro Rock, a fusion of sound system, Bahia’s traditional guitar, and Brazilian popular rhythms such as samba-reggae, ijexá, rap, funk, and electronic music.
With special guests Luedji Luna and Emicida, the celebration highlights “Sulaméfrica,” a concept that blends South American and African cultural and musical roots into an energetic and immersive experience.
