In its fifth edition, held in 2024, NALATA announced an unprecedented partnership with the STRAAT Museum—a street art and graffiti museum based in Amsterdam—by presenting a pop-up version of the Dutch museum in São Paulo, featuring large-scale works by both Brazilian and international artists.
This year, the NALATA Festival will continue its collaboration by presenting a special exhibition at STRAAT Museum in Amsterdam, featuring nine artists from the 2024 edition. Dolores Esos, Magrela, Pri Barbosa, Deco Treco, Enivo, Lobot, and Mundano will present works previously exhibited at the Casa NALATAxSTRAAT. In addition, Speto and Tinho will create site-specific pieces directly in the museum space, and Zéh Palito will show his inflatable sculpture ‘Banana Cósmica’ (2025) in the first weekend of the exhibition. The festival’s founder and curator, Luan Cardoso, will take part in a panel discussion alongside artists Speto and Tinho with Alex Pope, the educator at STRAAT.
