In April, we had the online edition of the Sampa Jazz Festival!
Sampa Jazz has established itself as one of the most traditional jazz festivals in São Paulo, with seven editions in its history. This year, the format was online and free, so that everyone could attend without leaving home.
Among the highlights of the program, Vanille Groovaerts and Ricardo Herz, saxophonist Suka Figueiredo and drummer Mario Gaiotto.
In addition to jazz and blues, the festival presented other artists that expanded jazz sound references, such as Sintia Piccin and Trio Corrente, which mix Brazilian harmonies and rhythms with the freedom and improvisation of jazz.
With 5 hours of broadcast and more than 1,000 spectators, the festival showed us that lives continue to unite audiences and purposes.
